Cardboard arcade
Define problem
generate concepts
We decided that having a game like basketball scaled down to a two player arcade game would be a fun idea for an arcade. when we made the design matrix it confirmed it because it scored the best, with the lowest number meant it was the best.
develop a solution
We were initially thinking about having only one basket but then we thought it would be better if we had two baskets so that everyone could go against someone instead of playing by themselves.
Construct and test prototype
Evaluate a solution
Are build was doing great, we had to braces and reinforce a couple of places though. So we had to brace the side net with hot glue as a modification. We also put a card board flapper in the hoop to slow down the ball when it goes through the hoop but it still roles back.
Present solution
We had to create a arcade game that was fun and inexpensive. we brainstormed on ideas and decided to make a fun game that was a large scale game, to small scale model but the game will be just as fun. We debated on three. The three were ring toss, hoops, and corn hole. We decided through the design matrix, hoops was the best. The necessary tools were inexpensive and were easy to work with. We completed our task to complete the arcade game "Hoops" and did it in an inexpensive manner.
